Promoting peace

Rotary encourages conversations to foster understanding within and across cultures. We train adults and young leaders to prevent and mediate conflict and help refugees who have fled dangerous areas. Learn more >

We educate and equip communities to stop the spread of life-threatening diseases like polio, HIV/AIDS, and malaria. We improve and expand access to low-cost and free health care in developing areas. Learn more >

Providing clean water sanitation and hygiene

Supporting Education

More than 775 million people over the age of 15 are illiterate. Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. Learn more >


Saving mothers and children

Nearly 6 million children under the age of five die each year because of malnutrition, poor health care, and inadequate sanitation. We expand access to quality care, so mothers and their children can live and grow stronger. Learn more >


Growing local economies

We carry out service projects that enhance economic and community development and create opportunities for decent and productive work for young and old. We also strengthen local entrepreneurs and community leaders, particularly women, in impoverished communities.

The Rotaract Club or F.R.E.S.H. is a non-governmental subsidiary of the Rotary and and consist of young men and women aged 18 and older to serve the community.

Rotaract D7030

One of 529 Districts around the world Rotaract District 7030 stretches from the beautiful Caribbean twin islands of St. Kitts & Nevis down the chain to Trinidad & Tobago and includes the exotic, multicultural, South American nations of Guyana and Suriname and French Guiana. As of 2017, District 7030 has expanded to included the ABC islands of Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao.

Our projects
 

In the context of International Day for the Conservation of Mangrove Ecosystem on the 26th of July, the Rotaract club of F.R.E.S.H. held their annual project "Gradually it can all disappear. Let's save the environment and plant mangrove trees!" The goal of this project is to restore biodiversity, coastal conservation and restoration by planting...

A fiscal year in the Rotaract runs from July until June the next year. After that, a new board will lead the club further to organizing effective projects for their communities and a fresh fiscal year commences. The outgoing board officially passes on the baton to the incoming board and this is done during a Handing Over Ceremony.

The theme "Maternal and Child Health" will be executed in April 2021 under the name Sranan Uma Kon Teki Leri, Want Ooktu Yu E Teri. The target audience for this project is mainly young and pregnant women. This project will focus on creating awareness for pre - and postpartum depression within pregnant women.
